Before a paid plan renews, a strip above the work area gives the renewal date: from 5 days before for monthly billing, and 30 days before for annual billing. It reminds you that the account will be suspended after a short grace period if the payment does not go through.

If a renewal payment fails, the strip says so and gives the date the account will be suspended unless it is paid: 2 days later, unless your organisation has been given longer. Until then, exports and sharing are paused: saving, sharing and emailing canvases, scheduled reports and publishing to Superset. Owners and administrators get “Pay now” (or “Update payment details”); everyone else is asked to contact them.

If the grace period passes, the workspace is replaced by “… subscription is not active”. Your data is kept. Owners and administrators can choose “Pay the invoice” or update the payment method there, and access returns as soon as the payment goes through.
