The first page is the canvas, on A4 in its own shape, with the canvas title, the workspace name and the export date, and every node rendered in the current theme. Selection outlines and buttons are left out; a chart’s filter badge stays, so a filtered chart is marked as one. The file is named after the canvas and the date.

Then come the chart details: for each chart, the dataset it reads, its filters, what it groups by, how each number is calculated, and any adjustment or row limit that applies. A reader of the PDF sees how the numbers were made without opening DashboardGPT.

Before the PDF is made, every chart is checked. If one has something the picture does not show (a sum replaced by an average, results cut off at the row limit, a calculation that could not be loaded), a review lists it first; choose the export again in the review to go ahead.

  1. 1Open the canvas you want to export.
  2. 2Choose the Export button (download icon) in the canvas toolbar.
  3. 3Choose “Save as PDF” to download it, or “Share as PDF” to use your device’s share sheet.
