| Line / Area | Trends over time. |
| Pie | Share of a whole, for one metric. |
| Scatter | Relationships: first metric is x, second is y, a third sets point size. |
| Table | Exact numbers. Each metric becomes a column. |
| KPI | A single headline value, with the change vs the previous period when available. |
| Heatmap | Patterns across two dimensions, or several metrics each on its own scale. |
